![]() ![]() ![]() In this post, I share some of the lessons I learned running the new Raspberry Pi 4 in a cluster with Docker Swarm. Like many others, I had to stay home through the COVID-19 crisis, so I decided to build a Raspberry PI cluster to explore running applications on it with Docker Swarm. Ensure that Deployment mode is set to Self-contained and Target runtime is set to linux-arm. Before publishing, select Edit in the publish profile summary and select the Settings tab. If using Visual Studio, deploy the app to a local folder. If needed, refer to Setting up an SSH Server in the Raspberry Pi documentation. To deploy your app as a self-contained app, complete the following steps:Įnsure SSH is enabled on your Raspberry Pi. To do this, set the deployment folder as the current directory and execute the following command (where HelloWorld.dll is the entry point of the app): dotnet HelloWorld.dll Recent versions of Windows have OpenSSH, which includes scp, pre-installed.įrom a Bash prompt on the Raspberry Pi (local or SSH), run the app.
